I don't know a whole lot about him or his art but I really like the fall colors in the second one above. In this format (on the computer) the first two paintings look almost like photographs, interesting! I read the NY times article you linked and had no idea about the controversy that he seemed to have created..very interesting. It may interest you to know that my mom has a print of Christina's World in her home. I don't think it has the same meaning to her that it did to Wyeth but that painting really speaks to her.
