There has been a lonely mister singing his heart out for the past few nights. Thank goodness he’s far enough from my window that he’s not keeping me awake. Wishing him the best in finding a mate.
I was going to put down the events of the past month in a nutshell, but I’ll leave that until tomorrow. At the moment, Iâm dreaming of a nice old house I can fix up, a flower garden I can run through and bright rooms where I can work and feel the sun on my skin. I’ve also been reflecting on our trip out west and where I might like to go next. It would be fun to see more of California and walk the coast of Maine, and one day I’m finally going to brush up on my French and slip away. And there’s always that lost trip to New Zealand that needs to be found.

New Zealand seems to be a popular destination these days. Sounds like a cool place to be.
